Sports Injuries

Sport’s injuries, whether in the old or young, weekend warrior or competitive high school athlete, involve tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints that have been stressed beyond their healthy limits. Tendonitis, bursitis, capsulitis, strains and sprains, back and neck pain, foot and ankle pain all may respond to hands on care.

Hands on care, including chiropractic, massage therapy, and acupuncture can help relieve pain and promote function by promoting blood flow through damaged areas, decreasing inflammation and pain, restoring joint motion, and freeing tendons, ligaments and muscles of scar tissue and active trigger points.

Body mechanics and muscular balance play a critical role in the ongoing success of treatment to prevent recurrence of injury and to promote maximum function. We will assess and treat your muscular balance and educate you about your body mechanics. We work with trainers and physical therapists to help you recover from your injury and return to your intended sport and level of play.
